Disney and Epic Games has revealed that, for the first time ever, the popular series is coming to PC via the Epic Games Store on 30 March.

Announced during the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase 2021, PC users can now join Sora, Donald and Goofy, as well as new and familiar characters across four games, as they unite to battle against a dark force threatening their friends and beloved Disney worlds.

Confirmed titles include Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Remix — enhanced versions of KH 1 and 2 — KH III Re Mind, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Melody of Memory.

Available next month, PC fans across the globe are gleaming with happiness, and rightfully so. The long-running RPG series that debuted 14 years ago has previously seen different worlds from Square Enix combine with the likes of Final Fantasy and Disney. Beginning on PlayStation, the much-loved game has since been released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox and Android, never fully making the leap to PC.

Japanese video game producer for Square Enix, Ichiro Hazama, explained: “It is truly a great pleasure to bring so many Kingdom Hearts adventures to PC gamers around the world.

“Our collaboration with Epic Games is one that stretches back to the development of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and as part of this ongoing relationship, the team at Epic Games have been incredibly supportive in helping us make this a reality. I’m incredibly excited for so many new players to discover and enjoy the action, magic, and friendship of Kingdom Hearts on PC.”
