QAnon conspiracy theorist and member of Congress Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to ban Pride flags from flying at US embassies around the world.

The anti-LGBT+ Republican US representative for Georgia’s 14th congressional district declared Monday (1 February) that she had decided to co-sponsor representative Jeff Duncan’s “Old Glory Only Act“, which states that US embassies should be banned from flying any flag other than she stars and stripes.

She said in a statement: “During my campaign for Congress, I promised that I would always put America first. That means that only the stars and stripes should fly over our embassies in foreign countries.”

In a reference to the Biden administration allowing US embassies to fly the Pride flag again, after Donald Trump banned them from flying it for the entirety of June, 2020, Greene added: “President Biden’s State Department has already raised a flag over our embassies that doesn’t represent the vast majority of Americans.”

She then went on the attack the Black Lives Matter movement, Greene continued: “In the past, rogue members of the State Department flew the flag of the radical Marxist group, Black Lives Matter.

“The domestic terrorists represented by that flag have burned down our cities with the mission of defunding our police.

“We should NOT be flying a flag of a group who wants to erase our history and bring mass destruction to our country through Communism.”

She ended her statement by claiming: “This isn’t a political issue. This is about Patriotism, and we need more of it.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene has links to hate groups and opposes LGBT+ rights.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a strong opponent of LGBT+ rights, and previously “liked” the anti-LGBT+ hate group MassResistance on Facebook.

The US representative openly opposes the trans community, whom she mistakenly equates with drag queens, and in 2019 she joined the hate group in protesting a library’s “Drag Queen Story Time” event.

Before the event, she wrote on Facebook: “Trans does not mean gender change, it just means a gender refusal and gender pretending! Truth is truth, it is not a choice!!!”

According to GLAAD, Greene attended the event in person and secretly recorded a 90-minute Facebook live video of the peaceful gathering she claimed was “an attack on children”. She then staged a confrontation with library staff and demanded to know why they hosted an event that went against her personal beliefs.

Later, she posted a photo of the drag queen on social media, writing: “That’s the abomination that just read four children’s books to children in our public library here in Alpharetta, Ga.”

She is currently spearheading a vile anti-trans act that would ban trans women from competing in sports.

It was recently revealed that Greene, who attempted to impeach Biden, had endorsed numerous Facebook posts calling for deadly violence against Democrats and federal enforcement officers.

CNN investigation showed that before Greene took office she had liked several posts about executing Democrats, including one that called for a “bullet to the head” of Nancy Pelosi.

In another post from April 2018, she personally assured commenters that the “stage is being set” for the hanging of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Greene is also notorious for her belief in the QAnon conspiracy theory. The bizarre beliefs of QAnon followers include that liberal celebrities and Democratic officials have been secretly arrested over a large-scale conspiracy to steal children for ritual Satanic abuse.
