Renowned biscuiteer Lady Gaga celebrated the launch of her Chromatica Oreos with an online scavenger hunt for sweet signed prizes.

Fresh after slaying the national anthem at Joe Biden’s inauguration, Gaga turned her attentions to her special range of lurid pink-and-green cookies.

The limited edition Lady Gaga Oreos hit shelves on Thursday (28 January), a business venture that has divided her loving fandom.

But even the most cynical Little Monsters would struggle to pass up the chance for a special pack autographed by the Mother Monster herself, especially when each one is valued at $125.

Beginning at 10.00 am ET on Thursday, the Oreo Twitter account posted a series of six cryptic clues leading to “hiding spots” on the site.

New clues were released hourly, each one inspired by Gaga’s sixth studio album, Chromatica.

Fans had 24 hours to crack the cookie code, tweeting the correct answer while tagging #ChromaticaCookieHunt, #sweepstakes and @Oreo.

Oreo will randomly select 50 lucky winners to get the hot pink signed packs, and their names will be announced on Twitter any day now.

But if you missed the boat, fear not, there’s still a chance to win a meet and greet with Gaga by entering the “Sing it with Oreo” contest, which is running until 30 April.

Meanwhile, the Lady Gaga Oreos are available for about $3.67 per pack, for a limited time only. Each cookie is embossed with one of three designs inspired by her album.

“This collab is inspired by the world of Chromatica, where kindness rules all things,” the star said in a statement.

“I love these pink cookies with green creme, and hope they brighten your day as much as they do mine!”
