Queen vocalist Adam Lambert has the perfect idea for Donald Trump’s post-presidency life

Adam Lambert wants the public and the media to starve Donald Trump of the attention he so desperately craves after he leaves office.

The singer and LGBT advocate thinks the best way to punish Trump for his “disastrous” presidency is for the media and the public to only give him attention when it is wholly necessary to do so.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain ahead of Joe Biden’s inauguration, Lambert said he is trying to “tune out the chaos that is Trump” – and he hopes others do the same.

Lambert hopes Biden and Kamala Harris will “heal the country” and believes “anything” will be better than what the United States has experienced over the last four years.

Adam Lambert is tuning out ‘the chaos’ of Donald Trump.

“Ever since the election, I’ve been just trying to tune out the chaos that is Trump,” Lambert said.

“Obviously we can’t fully ignore him given what happened at the Capitol, but I just hope that the public and the media don’t give him nearly as much attention as he’s been whoring about.”

He continued: “How many people did Trump fire in four years? It was a disaster from day one, not just this last year since COVID.

“So I think that with Biden and Harris leading the way here, I think they’re going to put together an appropriate cabinet to make the changes that we need to heal the country, to help combat the COVID crisis.”

Donald Trump will hold a farewell ceremony in Maryland Wednesday morning before flying to Florida, skipping the ceremony which will see Joe Biden officially inaugurated as president of the United States.

The outgoing president is reportedly furious with the line-up for Biden’s inauguration, with Lady Gaga set to perform the national anthem at the event.

After Biden’s inauguration – which is going ahead in a reduced capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic – Tom Hanks will host a 90-minute television programme broadcast on all major networks.

Jon Bon Jovi, the Foo Fighters, John Legend, Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake and Kerry Washington all set to take part.

The star-studded line-up is a stark contrast from the, eh, famous faces who performed at Trump’s inauguration in 2017, which included 3 Doors Down, DJ Ravidrums, The Piano Guys and several others.
