Homophobic Republican asks God to take his ‘iron rod’ to the ‘delusion that Joe Biden is president’

Michele Bachmann

Michele Bachmann had the nerve to ask God to “smash the delusion… that Joe Biden is our president” as Republicans continue to deny the simple truth of Donald Trump’s election loss.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic: a former congresswoman and one-time Trump aide desperately asking God to take his “iron rod” to “smash the clay jar of deceit in America”.

Bachmann, dubbed “America’s biggest homophobe” on account of her often-surreal arguments against gay rights, shared a video of herself praying to a higher power after America told Trump his time was up.

“Smash the clay jar of delusion in the United States of America… smash the delusion, father, of Joe Biden as our president. He is not,” she says in the clip.

“Would you take your iron rod and smash the delusion that Nancy Pelosi does have her House of Representatives, we don’t know that. Smash it in Jesus name. Smash, Lord, the takeover of the US Senate by Chuck Schumer.”

Unfortunately for Bachmann, it’s clear that Biden has been elected president, and that the Democrats will retain control of the House of Representatives. Meanwhile, it looks increasingly likely that two Georgia run-offs in January will determine who has control of the Senate.

Michelle Bachman is as delusional as Donald Trump.

Michelle Bachman’s refusal to accept the result of the election is no real surprise considering her history of reality-defying statements.

In September she claimed that Black transgender Marxists were “seeking the overthrow of the United States and the dissolution of the traditional family”.

“They think they’re going to do it by electing Joe Biden and then once Joe Biden is elected… what they’re going to do is have the United States’ economy collapse, move to a digital currency globally, and then we move into a global-type government. I mean, it’s bizarre, but this is their goal,” she added.

Thankfully, Bachmann is no longer an elected official, having retired from the House of Representatives in 2015.

During her tenure she suggested gay people were paedophiles and that God would destroy America because of the “sin-sick” culture of marriage equality.

In 2011 it emerged a Christian counselling service owned by Bachmann and run by her husband had attempted to “cure” at least one man of his homosexuality.

Nonetheless, in 2016 Bachmann was appointed to Trump’s Evangelical Advisory Board.

Elsewhere, despite every single major news organisation calling the election in favour of Biden, Trump continues to act like a petulant toddler yanking on his own testicles, refusing to concede.

“Since when does the Lamestream Media call who our next president will be? We have all learned a lot in the last two weeks!” he tweeted Sunday (November 8). The answer, one you’d think the sitting US president would know, is throughout modern history.
