Queer Eye cast issue emotional plea for fans to vote for Joe Biden: ‘The Trump administration affects all five of us’
The Queer Eye Fab Five teamed up with Joe Biden’s wife Jill for a fundraiser, where they drove home the message that a Democratic win is not guaranteed in November’s presidential election.
The virtual event took place Tuesday (September 1), and saw the Queer Eye cast encourage young people to make their voices heard by voting.
“If you can’t do it for yourself, do it for the people you desperately care about,” he said.
“If you say that you love us Queer Eye members, every one of us five is affected by the current administration, and Joe Biden and Kamala will make it easier for us.”
Queer Eye star Tan France hit out at Donald Trump for not respecting minority groups.
France also hit out at Trump for “denigrating” immigrants throughout his presidency and his re-election campaign.
“What I will be thinking when I’m voting is… first, oh gosh, I feel a bit emotional,” France said.

“I’ll be thinking of the fact that I am a representative of so many things that have been so negatively portrayed over the last three and a half years…
“We want to be respected. Muslims want to be respected, people of colour want be respected, the Black community wants to be respected, gay people want to be respected, trans people want to be respected.”
If you can’t do it for yourself, do it for the people you desperately care about.
Other members of Biden’s family also took part in the Queer Eye fundraiser, including his granddaughter Finnegan, who said voting is as important as protesting.
“Personally, not voting is enabling all of these things that we are begging to see change in,” she said.
“It’s just as bad as voting for Trump or voting for a third-party candidate. We have to vote, and we have to take it seriously.”
