Drag Race royalty Bianca Del Rio shares update on an all-winners season – and whether or not she’d return

Bianca Del Rio is the latest Drag Race legend to weigh in on the fabled all-winners season.

A Drag Race all-winners season has long been floated by fans, but the idea has picked up steam in recent months as the RuPaul franchise continues to expand.

To date the American edition and its All Stars spin-off has produced 18 winners, a few of whom have said they’d be eager for a return to the werk room.

But Bianca Del Rio, one of the most formidable queens the show has ever seen, has confirmed that producers haven’t asked her to return – and she’d have little interest in competing again anyway.

“First of all and foremost, I’ll say it here, no one has ever officially asked me from [Drag Race producers] World of Wonder,” she told Entertainment Weekly’s Binge podcast.

“In interviews I’ve always said no. Why would I go back to high school? There’s a reason each person won their season.”

Bianca explained that the show has evolved since she won season six in 2014, and tends towards a younger, more social-media driven audience.

“It’s a different vehicle,” she said.

“I don’t think I’d be cast, I don’t think I’d be interested in doing it now, because the game has changed… It’s just a different world.

“So rather than saying I don’t get it because I’m old, I’ll say it’s not for me! I don’t think I’d survive this time around!”

Drag Race all-winners: Who’s said yes.

Thought Bianca is out, there are a few Drag Race winners who have said they’d be up for another run.

Raja, Sharon Needles, Violet Chachki and Jinkx Monsoon have all said they would definitely return if asked, while Aquaria recently told PinkNews that she’d “never say never”.

Stuck at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the season 10 winner joked: “They could have me come back to work in the art department, or lighting or something – I’ll be the ‘five minute warning’ Untucked guy, just please give me something to do right now!”
