Trans beauty blogger NikkieTutorials was robbed at gunpoint in her home in the Netherlands Saturday afternoon (August 8), according to the make-up star and local law enforcement.
In a statement shared to her social media Saturday (August 8), the YouTuber, real name Nikkie de Jager, explained that three individuals broke into her home at 4pm. They drew firearms at her and her partner, Dylan Droassaers.
De Jager reassured her fans that she and Droassaers are fine, albeit, mentally shaken.

“Earlier today one of my biggest nightmares became reality when we got robbed under gunpoint at our own home,” the 26-year-old said in the social media statement.

“Dylan and myself got attacked but physically we’re okay. Mentally it’s a whole other story.
“I’m writing this message, for now, to let you know that we are ‘okay’ and safe.
“Thank you for understanding as I take the next couple of days to myself.”
East Brabant police, in the North Brabant province, confirmed the incident on Twitter.
“Just reported a robbery on a house on Pnemstraat, Uden,” the statement said.
“The perpetrators threatened the residents with possibly a firearm and took an unknown loot from them. There are at least three perpetrators who fled in a beige passenger car towards the A50.”

The force said, “one of the residents suffered superficial injuries”, while stating that forensic investigators are combing the scene.
Earlier this year, de Jaeger revealed that she worked with the police in January to track down the people who were threatening to blackmail her by outing her as trans.
“With the help of police, we have found out who exactly was blackmailing me,” she said.
“I have their names, their phone numbers, email addresses. I even know where they live and how they treated people around me to get more information on my true story.”
