Drag Race announces yet another spin-off with Miss Vanjie, Naomi Smalls and a gaggle of returning queens getting up close and personal

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue will hit the airwaves in August as the latest incarnation of the queer television behemoth.
This weekend’s All Stars 5 finale brings to an end 22 consecutive weeks of Drag Race on VH1.
During that time we’ve had season 12, a concurrent Celebrity spin-off, more Untucked moments than you can shake a pair of tucking panties at, and the small matter of a Canadian edition launching north of the border.
Perhaps time for RuPaul to retreat to his ranch, frack – sorry – crack open a bottle of wine and relax?

Drag Race: Vegas Revue continues the TV juggernaut’s bid for world domination with a docuseries following six iconic queens as they prepare to launch the RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Las Vegas show.
Yvie Oddly, Asia O’Hara, Derrick Barry and Naomi Smalls will all take part, as will Vanessa ‘Vanjie’ Matteo and Kameron Michaels – who, in a preview trailer, are caught kai kai-ing during some downtime.

Launching on VH1 on August 21, an extended first look at the new show will air during Friday’s (July 24) All Stars 5 finale.
RuPaul is also seen celebrating with the cast in the 20-second clip, presumably backstage at the Flamingo Las Vegas, where Drag Race Live! launched in January 2020.
The coronavirus pandemic forced the live show to go on hiatus, but it is set to return in January 2021 with a rotating cast that also includes Shea Coulee, Aquaria, Coco Montrese, Eureka O’Hara, India Ferrah, Kahanna Montrese, Kim Chi and Shannel.
The franchise’s producers have previously spoken about building a Drag Race casino in Vegas as yet another extension to the brand.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, they also hinted there could also be “at least” three more international expansions, following Canada, the UK, Thailand, Australia and South America (The Switch Drag Race), and possibly even a Drag Race branded theme park.
