Disney star Raven-Symoné share surprise wedding: ‘I married a woman who understands me from trigger to joy’

Raven-Symoné has celebrated Pride Month in the best possible way: by marrying her girlfriend Miranda Maday.
The That’s So Raven star shared the news of her surprise wedding on Instagram yesterday (June 18) with a beautiful photo of the couple on their big day.
“I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home,” Raven-Symoné wrote.
“I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday! Let’s tear this world a new a*****e!!! I’s married NOW,” she added.
Raven-Symoné and Miranda Maday received an ‘outpouring of love’ after revealing their surprise wedding.
In a later post, Raven-Symoné added: “The outpouring of love and congratulations have filled our hearts immensely.
“Thank you to everyone!!!! I won’t bombard y’all with too many pix, but yeah more music soon!”

The actor and singer rose to fame on The Cosby Show before starring in That’s So Raven and in Disney Channel films such as The Cheetah Girls.
She opened up about her sexuality in 2016, revealing that her time working on Disney projects made her stay in the closet for longer.
The former child star stayed in the closet because of her Disney career.
Speaking to the It Gets Better campaign, Raven-Symoné said she had “15 people dictating what I should and should not look like” during her time as a child star, and said this intense pressure forced her to stay in the closet for even longer.
“My awareness of my sexuality was prevalent to me at 12, but there was some things younger in like the single digits. I had friends that I experimented with, but I never went far because I knew that this can’t be talked about.”
The actor and singer added: “I never thought I would come out because my personal life didn’t matter, it was only what was supposed to be sold as the ‘Raven-Symoné’ brand.”
Speaking at the time, she told LGBT+ youth who are struggling that “it will pass”.
“You’ll get bumps and bruises. But if you stick through it, people forget.”
