Drag Race star Derrick Barry turns the shade up to 13 as India Ferrah feud spills over from All Stars 5

Drag Race’s Derrick Barry has continued her tirade against India Ferrah after their clash in the All Stars 5 werk room. Warning – spoilers ahead.

From the moment Derrick Barry and India Ferrah came face-to-face in Friday’s (June 5) All Stars 5 premiere, the shade was flying in all directions.

It was a marked contrast from the love-in of Drag Race season 12, as Derrick and India admitted they’d fallen out after an incident involving a Las Vegas nightclub gig and one of Derrick’s boyfriends.

The pair spent much of the episode firing barbs at each other at every opportunity – coming to a head when India found herself in the top and Derrick the bottom.

India lost the power to eliminate, having been trumped by lip-sync assassin Yvie Oddly, but Derrick was sent home anyway after the remaining queens voted almost-unanimously to give ‘Britney’ the boot.

In her post-elimination “Whatcha Packin'” interview with Michelle Visage, Derrick gave fans a little background on her feud with India – served with a whole lot of shade.

“I used to be a huge fan of India, I used to really like her,” she said.

Derrick said part of her problem with India is that “she has said a lot of things online… that I really disagree with. She spoke out against the show which I don’t agree”.

Nodding, Michelle pointed out at India “also quit drag at one point”.

“Which I do agree with,” Derrick fired back.

When Michelle asked whether the pair would patch up their differences back in Las Vegas, where they both live and work, Derrick suggested their paths might not cross.

“It’s not that big of a city,” Michelle pointed out.

“Well I travel and she’s happy being local,” Derrick replied. “I don’t mean that as a read.”

Michelle pointed out: “That was a read.”

UK fans were furious Friday when it was announced at the very last minute that they’d have to wait a full week to see the All Stars 5 premiere.

Netflix UK confirmed it will release both the first and second episodes this Saturday (June 13), with new episodes coming weekly after then.
