Not today, Satan! Netflix announces last-minute delay to Drag Race All Stars 5

Drag Race All Stars

Sorry, drag fans: Netflix has delayed the UK premiere of Drag Race All Stars 5 at the last minute, “due to factors beyond our control”.

As with previous seasons, All Stars 5 will see 10 drag queens return to fight for a place in the coveted Drag Race Hall of Fame and a grand prize of $100,000.

The highly-anticipated new season was expected to arrive on Netflix UK on Saturday (June 6) but sadly viewers will now have to wait a week longer than planned.

The silver lining is that the first two episodes will now be released together on June 13.

Unfortunately, the All Stars 5 delay delay will mean that British Drag Race fans will have to steer clear of spoilers online for a full week – and they’re not happy about it.

Contestants in the upcoming series will include Alexis Mateo, Blair St. Clair, Derrick Barry and Ongina.

The queens will be critiqued by RuPaul, Michelle Visage and a roster of guest judges including Thor star Tessa Thompson, 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski, Nailed It!’s Nicole Byer, singer Bebe Rexha and singer Ricky Martin.

Veep’s Sam Richardson, pop star Madison Beer, Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland, 13 Reasons Why’s Tommy Dorfman will feature in upcoming episodes.

RuPaul has also teased us with a sickening All Stars twist, that will see the rules “suspended forever”… and we’ve never been more ready.
