Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande share new teaser for ‘Rain on Me’ and we’re seriously ready to get wet

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande tweeted teasers of their upcoming duet “Rain On Me”, with countless twinks rushing be the first to tweet fancams captioned with “serve”, “we are ready” and ” gay rights!”.
The tune will drop Friday (May 22) as part of Gaga’s upcoming Chromatica album, ending a 4.543 billion yearslong drought of never hearing Gaga and Grande sing together.
In tweets hinting at what the “Rain On Me” music video might look like, Gaga and Grande threw on Mad Max-inspired armour sets for a few promotional pictures.

Gaga donned a skin-tight latex bodysuit dotted with spike embellishment, while Grande wore a black latex dress with a mini skirt. Umbrellas are, of course, noticeably absent, yet so is rain.
Her sixth studio album will also feature duets with BLACKPINK and Elton John, proving that when it does rain, it indeed pours.

The “Stupid Love” hitmaker later tweeted what appeared to be a lyric from the song: “I’d rather be dry / But at least I’m alive.”

‘Rain On Me’: What will it be about?
Liquid water in the form of droplets that have condensed from atmospheric water vapour and then become heavy enough to fall under gravity, duh.
OK, we kid. We have no clue how much the song will actually pertain to a weather phenomenon, but the collaboration has long been speculated across Twitter timelines, Gaga fan pages and Grande subreddits for months.
It was a rumour ratcheted up further after the Sweetener singer wished Gaga a happy birthday in a since-deleted Instagram post, and spoke at length about their bond.

It was also implied by Gaga as well when she told Paper Magazine that one Chromatica collab involves a female artist who has “similarly experienced immense trauma while in the public eye”.
What is the song about, though? Gaga alluded: “[It’s a] celebration of all the tears.
“I sat with her and we talked about our lives. It’s two women having a conversation about how to keep going and how to be grateful for what you do.”
