Jamie Dornan has proven that he won’t be sashaying away anytime soon with his iconic new drag persona.

The Northern Irish actor unveiled his drag alter ego Jenny to the world in an Instagram post and explained that his daughters were responsible for the incredible creation.

In the photo, Dornan dons a flowing, patterned red dress along with a blue wig and some killer golden heels.

“Dressing up with my daughters took a turn,” Dornan wrote on Instagram.

“Meet Jenny (with the blue hair). She’s sweet.”

Jamie Dornan’s drag alter ego has won over the internet.

Dornan’s new look — or should we say Jenny’s new look — turned a few heads. His Instagram post has been liked more than 270,000 times.

Call Me By Your Name star Armie Hammer commented: “‘Dressing up with my daughters’ = I have heels in my size and was looking for an excuse to feel like a fierce b***h.”

Irish actor Amy Huberman commented: “Oh a lovely casual Sunday look!”

The look is a good start, but if Dornan really wants to start a new career as a drag queen he might want to consider shaving and learning how to contour.

The actor recently came under fire for taking part in a bizarre cover of ‘Imagine’ with other celebrities.

Dornan’s incredible new drag look comes just weeks after he and other celebrities were widely ridiculed for taking part in a cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine” to help people through the coronavirus pandemic.

The bizarre video, organised by Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot, featured various celebrities singing a line each from Lennon’s classic song.

But the idea did not go down well on social media. The stars were lambasted for appearing out of touch with the realities of people’s lives.

It even inspired parodies from the likes of Joe Lycett and John Mayer.

Dornan later revealed that Kristen Wiig, who asked him to take part, later apologised for getting him involved.

The 38-year-old actor hails from County Down in Northern Ireland and began his career as a model for the likes of Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein.

He later transitioned to film and television and has since made a name for himself in The Fall and Fifty Shades of Grey.
