Anti-feminist YouTuber Carl Benjamin has doubled down on his vile rape joke about Labour MP Jess Phillips in a video defending a men’s rights activist.

In a video uploaded Thursday (April 23), former UKIP candidate Benjamin jumped to the defence of retired gay porn actor turned men’s rights activist Philipp Tanzer after PinkNews published a story about him.

In the original story, PinkNews referenced the fact that Benjamin once tweeted Labour MP Jess Phillips and said: “I wouldn’t even rape you.”

Instead of apologising for the offensive tweet, Benjamin doubled down on his comment.

“They’re calling me an extremist who joked publicly about raping an MP, and that’s not true,” Benjamin said in the video.

“I said I wouldn’t. There’s not enough beer. But the thing is, you have to understand that this feminist was being a massive b***h.”

Carl Benjamin said the BBC documentary was ‘not a very flattering portrayal’ of him.

Carl Benjamin went on to attack Thursday’s PinkNews story about Tanzer’s record as a men’s rights activist.

“Why is PinkNews attacking a former gay porn star who says he’s one of my fans?” Benjamin asked.

“Well, because he is a men’s rights activist, and my goodness, if there’s one thing we can’t have, it’s gay men’s rights activists.”

He then said the story suggests that it’s “OK to attack and smear a gay man, as long as he believes the wrong things”.

“I met Philipp at the men’s right’s conference, he was a really nice guy. I didn’t know he was an ex-gay porn star or anything like that. I just knew he was an activist who was there.”

The thing is, you have to understand that this feminist was being a massive b***h.

Benjamin also spoke of his dissatisfaction at the way he was depicted in the BBC documentary, saying it was “not a very flattering portrayal.”

“I’m an extremist apparently, but then that’s what the communists would say, isn’t it? But they are, they’re communists, I’m not even just saying that.”

He went on to lament the fact that men’s rights activists have been de-platformed and said they are treated as “political enemies” by feminists.

The YouTuber has a long history of using anti-gay and racial slurs.

Benjamin read the PinkNews story in the video, and when Tanzer’s support of Donald Trump was mentioned, he paused to put on his “Make America Great Again” cap.

“Yes, I did go to Trump Tower to get this, and screw you PinkNews, lots of people are fans of mine, what’s wrong with that? What’s the problem with being a fan of what I’m doing here?

“I think I’m providing good content and if people who watched it didn’t agree they’d bloody well tell me, so how about you come and ask me what the deal is?

“Why doesn’t the author of this article come on for an interview or something? I’d love to hear what the problem is.”

Benjamin will likely be disappointed to learn that PinkNews, and the writer of this article, will not be accepting his invitation to appear on his YouTube channel.

This is not the first time Benjamin has made headlines. Last year, Buzzfeed revealed that he had a long history of using anti-gay and racial slurs.

In a report published last April, the news outlet wrote that Benjamin once described the alt-right as “f*****s” and said they were “acting like n*****s.”

They also uncovered a video from 2015 in which he is alleged to repeatedly used the word “f*g.”
