Former gay porn star Philipp Tanzer is now a “men’s rights activist” who claims that he is “constantly being silenced” – despite starring in a 24-minute BBC documentary.

Tanzer, whose porn name was Logan McCree, worked as a gay porn star for three years for high-profile studios such as Raging Stallion – but he has now left that lifestyle behind.

Today, Tanzer dedicates his time to men’s rights activism, as revealed in a new BBC Stories documentary.

“I think as a men’s rights activist you are constantly being silenced,” Tanzer says in the documentary.

“Society as a whole has an issue listening to men’s issues because it makes us feel uncomfortable.

“We don’t really like to hear about men being vulnerable.”

Former gay porn star Philipp Tanzer does not believe domestic violence statistics.

The award-winning gay porn performer moved to Scotland seven years ago and now works as a hairdresser, massage therapist and artist.

“As a man growing up knowing that I liked men,” he says. “I constantly had to question my position in life, my masculinity.

“For a man at the moment I think it feels like whatever we do is not enough or it’s wrong. It would be good if we could look at the positive aspects and the negative aspects both of women and of men in a balanced way.”

Tanzer said he first noticed “problems in society” when he was serving in the military.

“Almost all of my comrades from the military that I was close to, they lost their children in custody battles, and it really destroyed them, some of them emotionally.”

Then, a year and a half ago, he came across a video online about the men’s rights movement and went down “a rabbit hole”.

I think as a men’s rights activist you are constantly being silenced.

In the 24-minute documentary, Tanzer travels to Chicago for a men’s rights conference where he reveals that he does not believe domestic violence statistics.

When confronted with the reality that women are twice as likely to suffer domestic violence than men, he said: “You have to look into these studies and how this study was completed. I do not believe this statistic.”

The men’s rights activist is also a fan of Carl Benjamin and is a Donald Trump supporter.

He also revealed that he is a big fan of Carl Benjamin, the YouTuber who once tweeted Labour MP Jess Phillips saying: “I wouldn’t even rape you.”

According to Tanzer, Benjamin is “a really, really nice guy”.

Disturbingly, Tanzer also reveals in the documentary that his own mother was shot dead by her abusive second husband in South Africa – but he doesn’t think anger with men is the way forward.

To make matters worse, Tanzer is also an anti-porn activist and recently encouraged men to live “porn free” on Twitter.

He also appears to be a Trump supporter, after he tweeted a photo of himself wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap just weeks ago.
