It’s officially Taurus season! Here’s 5 queer and queer-adjacent babes you never knew were the sign of the bull

Taurus season! 5 queer babes you never knew were the sign of the bull

Hello and welcome to what is, categorically, the best Zodiac season of the year: It’s Taurus season.

Who doesn’t like food, sex, naps and things that smell good? Yes, this is being written by a Taurus, but you know what: who cares.

Unsurprisingly, many of our most beloved queer icons are fellow Taureans.

Sam Smith.

The non-binary icon is the literal embodiment of a sexy, sentimental, snoozing Taurean hun.

They give us eating:

Looking adorable while napping:

And – very importantly, for we are Spring babies and we like flowers – they hold flowers, whilst sitting in the sun (this is key), having a coffee (important antidote to all the naps) and a bacon sandwich (see above reference to “food”).

Cher.

Cher is the reigning monarch of, well, everything, and is also an excellent example of an A* Taurus.

She’s also a supportive parent to Chaz, her trans son.

But more importantly, Cher has done what most Taureans can only dream of doing, and launched her own perfume – with the snappiest name, too: Cher Eau de Couture.

Falling neatly into yet another stereotypically Taurean trait, Cher not only has her own line of scarves, but they’re made of cashmere.

Obviously Cher’s scarves are made from cashmere – we bulls are the most sensual sign of the Zodiac – we prioritise things that look, smell, taste, feel, sound and look good.

Barbra Streisand.

Diva. Superstar. Icon. Taurus.

Barbra is also notable among those in the know for her love of flowers: very Taurean (see above reference to “sensual pleasures”).

So.

Lizzo.

The staunch queer ally says she wants to make music that makes Black trans women feel good and has a penchant for lesbian icon Harry Styles.

We’re not saying that having a penchant for Harry is a Taurus trait per se, but it is shared by Lizzo and at least one other Taurus who shall remain as anonymous as is possible when your byline is on the article.

For those still not convinced: there are not one, but two, videos on Lizzo’s Instagram of her dancing in a bath robe.

We stan!

Lily Allen.

While the singer has not come out as LGBT+, she did talk candidly in her autobiography about sleeping with female sex workers on tour as a way of exploring her sexuality and coping with loneliness.

She’s also said: “I have lesbian dreams a lot.”

Whether she’s queer or just queer-adjacent, she hates Donald Trump and that’s good enough for us.
