Yes, Tiger King’s Joe Exotic is a ‘really big’ Donald Trump supporter. What did you expect?

Tiger King: Donald Trump Jr compared his dad to gay criminal Joe Exotic

To the surprise of nobody, Joe Exotic of Tiger King fame is actually a “really big” Donald Trump supporter, his husband has said.

Exotic’s husband Dillon Passage made the extremely unsurprising revelation in an interview on ITV’s This Morning on April 15.

Passage said that Exotic, who is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for trying to hire a hitman to kill Carole Baskin, has written to Trump requesting a pardon.

Exotic was apparently delighted when Trump said at a recent press conference that he would “take a look” at a potential pardon.

Joe Exotic of Tiger King fame is ‘a really big Trump supporter’, according to his husband.

“It’s kind of a big deal having the president address something like that,” Passage said.

“Joe is a really big Trump supporter. When Joe heard that Trump was going to look into it he was really excited to see what could possibly happen.”

During last week’s press conference, Trump was quizzed by a New York Post reporter on whether he would consider pardoning Exotic.

Joe is a really big Trump supporter. When Joe heard that Trump was going to look into it he was really excited to see what could possibly happen.

The reporter told Trump that Tiger King is “one of the biggest ratings hits of the coronavirus” and said Exotic is looking for a pardon as he believes he was “unfairly convicted”.

He then told Trump that his son, Donald Trump Jr, had expressed his support for a pardon.

Trump said he would ‘take a look’ at pardoning Exotic, but didn’t seem to know who he is.

“I was wondering if you’ve seen the show and if you have any thoughts on pardoning Joe Exotic?” the reporter asked.

“Which son? It must be Don,” Trump said, looking relieved not to be fielding questions about the ever-increasing death toll in his country.

Trump did not know who Exotic, but said: “I’ll take a look,” before moving onto the next question.

Exotic has become a household name in recent weeks since Netflix unleashed its true crime documentary miniseries Tiger King, which examines his life.

The zookeeper was sentenced to 22-years in prison for allegedly trying to hire a hitman to murder Carole Baskin, the CEO of animal sanctuary Big Cat Rescue.
