Comrade Britney breaks from freeing workers of their chains to teach a lesson in grace by praising her ex Justin Timberlake

In the ongoing, honestly wild and unpredictable saga that is the year 2020, Britney Spears has randomly chose Wednesday to address her break-up with singer Justin Timberlake.

Spears, who has both come out as a rampant socialist and speed-defying sprinter in the last month, has taken a brief break from her daily schedule of rallying for riots and mutual aid to address her monumental break-up with Timberlake.

The pair dated back in 1999 before calling it quits in 2002. Both at the height of their respective fame and plunging into what Spears dubbed “one of the world’s biggest break-ups”.

Despite the relationship’s end being fodder for gossip rags and paparazzi for years to come, Spears posted a tribute to her ex on Instagram, calling him a “genius” while dancing to his 2018 hit, “Filthy”.

Britney Spears: ‘[Justin Timberlake] is a genius!’

“This is my version of Snapchat or TikTok or whatever the cool thing you’re supposed to do these days!” Spears wrote in the caption.

“As you can see I’m not really dancing folks… I’m just very bored.

“I know we had one of the world’s biggest breakups 20 years ago, but, hey, the man is a genius!”

“Great song JT! Pssss if you KNOW WHAT’S GOOD,” she added, pairing it with footage of her dancing on a balcony in a crop top and short shorts.

Timberlake appeared to welcome the tribute, commenting with a laughing emoji and three praise-hands.

Spears’s sister Jamie-Lynn also commented on the post, writing: “Blogs are already plotting their outrageous stories. You keep having fun and looking cute, tho.”

While the “Toxic” hitmaker’s current partner, Sam Asghari, flagged his support for the star, too.

“Snapchat, Instagram TikTok, Facebook even Myspace was inspired by you,” he said.

Facts are facts, duh.

Spears and the former NSYNC star have spoken sparingly about their split since 2002.
