Gigi Goode just came out as gender fluid on Drag Race

Gigi Goode opened up about her gender fluidity in the Drag Race season 12 werk room, explaining that she feels like “both and neither”.
Gigi spoke candidly about her gender identity while reviewing her Snatch Game performance.
The Drag Race star admitted to feeling nervous about her character, Maria the Robot, because she “relies heavily” on serving femininity.
“I’ve kind of always teetered between male and female throughout my whole life,” the season 12 queen explained.
“I think I really always carry some sense of female and male, even when I’m in non-drag.”
In the confessional booth, Gigi explained how her family had supported her expression throughout her life.
“Growing up I’ve always been interested in feminine things.
“I wanted to wear dresses to school. I’ve kind of always thoughts there’s no point putting a label in anything regarding gender.
The 21-year-old admitted that this was the first time she had spoken about her gender fluidity.
I don’t even think I’ve ever said this out loud but I think I’m fluid.
“Sometimes I identify as more male, sometimes I identify as more feminine. I think I’m both and I’m neither.”
Gigi said she was “so thankful to have a mother who has shaped me into the person I am today”.
She explained that when she was 12 years old, her mother took her to visit a gay uncle who spoke to her about queer culture and the LGBT+ community, and was the first person to tell her about RuPaul.
“He’s a big reason why I’m so comfortable with who I am.”

Gigi capped off the week by being named the winner of the Snatch Game, beating stiff competition from Jackie Cox, who played Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna.
Rivals Brita and Aiden fell into the bottom two, with RuPaul asking Aiden to sashay away after lip-syncing to Frozen’s “Let It Go.”
