Love Island Australia star Justin Lacko has revealed that he is attracted to both men and women in a series of since-deleted Instagram posts.

In the Instagram posts seen by the Daily Mail, Lacko wrote: “Love who you want to! Doesn’t matter the sex.”

He added: “I won’t lie anymore within myself. I want freedom to be free. I respect myself to say this. I love me and always will.”

Love Island star Justin Lacko wrote: ‘Gay, bi, straight – just be who you are.’

In a follow-up post on his Instagram story, Lacko clarified: “This isn’t me coming out at all about being gay. This is me coming out today that I fall in love with a person not a sex. I love women and man [sic] that’s it.”

He concluded: “Gay, bi, straight – just be who you are. I don’t care and neither should anyone else.”

While it’s not totally clear from his posts, it appears as though he intended to come out as bisexual, pansexual or sexually fluid with the posts. He has not yet explained why he deleted the comments from Instagram, but did share a blank image along with a “peace” emoji.

Lacko rose to fame in Australia when he was a contestant on Love Island Australia and later appeared on the country’s edition of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

The reality TV star previously said he was not speaking to his grandmother because she suggested he could be gay.

While appearing on that show, he revealed that he was not on speaking terms with his grandmother as she had suggested that he might be gay.

“I have held onto a grudge with my grandma,” he said during his stint on I’m a Celebrity.

“I say ‘hi’ to her when I see her at Christmas time, I acknowledge her, but that’s it.

“She said something like, ‘I think it’s time we admitted that Justin is gay and in the closet. He never brings girls home.'”

Lacko said he was hurt by his grandmother’s comments.

“Someone’s sexuality is none of your business. I don’t feel like it’s anyone’s business unless I choose to say it myself,” he added.
