Tens of thousands sign up for new dating site aimed at men with small penises

Dinky One: New dating website launches for men with small penises

There’s big pressure for people with penises to be, well, big, but new dating site Dinky One is hoping to change that.

Bigger isn’t always better – some end up hospitalised trying to get to Base Camp One when hiking Mount Everest – while two in 10 queer men are indifferent to penis size, a study says.

A penis is no dictator in running a man’s dating life, but if smaller is the answer for you, you can sign-up to Dinky One – a dating app for those with small penises and those who enjoy it.

Dinky One aims to show size truly doesn’t matter.

Around one in two men have a penis below average, the app says, yet pressures to pack big pile up for many men. Both having a big or small penis can have its ups and down, we guess.

App founders aim to normalise different sizes in the downtown department, as “there’s pressure on all genders to conform to ideals set by TV, film and even porn,” Dinky One founder David Minns said.

“The adult entertainment industry only casts males with well over average-sized penises. In addition, adverts on major porn sites advertise dubious products to increase penis size.

All of this makes a man already insecure about his size even more self-conscious. Some men are big, some average and some below average.

“Dinky One lets smaller men date people outside their circle of friends with the safety that everyone using the site is fully aware.”

Points were certainly made here.

The app has already seen a surge in users since launching, tallying nearly 28,000. Around 27 per cent of the user base identify as female, 71 per cent male and two per cent trans.

Users are given a choice of 24 gender identities, including non-binary and androgynous, as well as having the option to be anonymous.

There are people “who just prefer a smaller penis for comfort reasons and still rate the sex highly from a smaller endowed man,” the app explains on its website.

“There are also [people] who enjoy the smaller man more as they tend to compensate for size with additional skills such as more experience of oral sex and foreplay.”
