Gay man has the ‘scalding hots’ for Pete Buttigieg and wants to call his husband ‘Mayor Pete’ in bed

A gay man has written to an advice columnist because his husband has the “scalding hots” for Pete Buttigieg and wants to call him “Mayor Pete” in bed.

The 33-year-old man, who signed his letter as “Not Butti-Giggling”, isn’t sure how to respond to his husband’s intense Buttigieg-related fantasies.

“My husband has the scalding hots for Pete Buttigieg,” the man wrote in a Vermont newspaper.

Gay man knows Pete Buttigieg fantasy is ‘all in good fun’ but the idea turns him off.

“Unfortunately, I kind of look like him, and my beau wants to call me ‘Mayor Pete’ in bed.”

He continued: “I know it’s all in good fun, but this idea sort of turns me off. Probably because I’m a huge Bernie fan.

“I’m game for trying a lot of things, and I want to make my hubby happy, but I think this might squash the mood. What do I do?”

Advice columnist The Reverend said that role-playing “can be a fantastic way to spice up your sex life,” but said this is only the case when “all parties involved are down with the plan.”

I’m game for trying a lot of things, and I want to make my hubby happy, but I think this might squash the mood.

“Call me crazy, but it sounds like you’re on the fence with this one. I say let some six o’clock shadow grow, throw on a tie, hop in the sack and see how it goes. What’s the worst that could happen?”

However, he added: “It may be too weird to go through with, but I bet you’d have a good laugh about it and wind up having fun either way.”

The letter comes just days after fake photos of Buttigieg with a beard threw gay Twitter into disarray.

“If trying it for real is a complete boner-kill, tell him that he can call you ‘Mayor Pete’ in his head all he wants. I’m sure he’d understand where you’re coming from if you ask him whether he’d be OK with you yelling ‘Feel the Bern!’ in the throes of passion.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the letter comes just days after fake photos of Buttigieg with a beard stormed across the internet, throwing queer men everywhere into unexpected fits of passion.

The photos were first shared by Jim Fall, director of such classics as Trick and The Lizzie McGuire Movie, starting with a sensual black and white shot of the Democrat with long stubble, slowly undoing his tie. He was subsequently christened “Daddy Pete” by Gay Twitter.
