Lana Del Rey cancels tour to the sound of a million gay hearts breaking

The undisputed queen of sad bangers, Lana Del Rey, has cancelled her entire UK and European tour due to “surprise illness”.

The tour was due to start tomorrow.

The queer icons first show was scheduled for tomorrow evening at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

Lana Del Rey’s UK dates included a massive show at the O2 arena in London on February 25, and then shows in Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham.

“Sorry to let everyone down so last minute but this illness has taken me by surprise and have totally lost my singing voice,” Lana Del Rey said.

“Dr has advised 4 weeks off for the moment. I hate to let everyone down but I need to get well.

“Love Lana.”

The tour followed the release of her latest album, 2019’s ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’, which received widespread gay acclaim upon release.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter is echoing with the sound of a million gay hearts breaking.

Lana del rey cancelling her tour is, and I’m not being dramatic, the worst thing that has ever happened to me,” one person said.

Lana Del Rey hasn’t played in the UK or Europe for several years – making the blow of cancellation even more gut-wrenching for fans.

Drama aside, it’s clear from the reaction how important Lana and her sad bangers are to fans.

“I literally put my entire happiness and sanity into seeing lana in two weeks, into seeing the nfr tour, i see now how i‘m the biggest fucking joke to the universe i see how it is,” one said.

PLEASE DONT TELL ME LANA CANCELLED HER ENTIRE EUROPEAN TOUR I’VE BEEN WAITING 6 MONTHS FOR THIS CONCERT IM CRYING,” one person summed it up.

The news hit those due to see Lana Del Rey at the first date of her tour tomorrow the hardest.

While the sad vibes are overwhelming, many people also sent ‘get well soon’ wishes to the 34-year-old.

Del Rey is also due to perform at Glastonbury and Primavera Sound festivals this summer.
