Harry Styles was robbed at knifepoint on Valentine’s Day

Harry Styles had to sprint home after mugging because nobody would help

Lesbian icon Harry Styles was reportedly left shaken after being robbed at knifepoint on Valentine’s Day.

The 26-year-old queer ally and pop star was on a night out in North London when he was confronted by a man who threatened him and then pulled out a knife.

According to The Mirror, Harry acted quickly – pulling out cash, handing it over to the man and de-escalating the situation so that nobody was hurt.

“He actually played it pretty cool, quickly giving the assailant cash, keeping himself and the guy calm and getting the situation over with,” an unnamed source told The Mirror.

“Understandably though it left him very shaken up afterwards.”

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the story, with a spokesperson saying: “Police are investigating reports of a knifepoint robbery in Hampstead.

“Officers were contacted on Saturday, 15 February regarding the incident which happened at 11.50pm on Friday, 14 February.

“It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife.

“The victim was not injured however, cash was taken from him.

“No arrests and enquiries are ongoing.”

The Mirror’s source added: “Given the pressures of a new album and a performance at the Brit Awards, it’s fair to say this is the last thing poor old Harry needed.”

While Harry has left his sexuality ambiguous, it’s not an overstatement to say that an attack on Harry Styles is a direct attack on the queer community.

Harry Styles to perform at Brit Awards.

Harry will perform later tonight at the Brit Awards.

His 2019 album Fine Line is nominated for best album, where he’s up against Stormzy – who he sang with in December 2019, at a London gig that saw Styles sing waving the rainbow Pride flag before chanting “f**k the government and f**k Boris” with the UK grime star.

Harry is also up for best British male, which to be honest seems a foregone conclusion.
