Heizer left a green love heart and a crying emoji underneath the picture, which many took as confirmation that the two are dating.

Followers were thrilled to see the pair together, including Heizer’s 13 Reasons Why castmate Tommy Dorfman, who left two crying emojis.

Drag Race royalty Adore Delano and What/If star Jane Whitman also left messages of support underneath the picture, which has so far attracted 60,000 likes.

One fan wrote that they “couldn’t stop smiling”, with another adding: “All is right with the world.”

Connor Jessup came out as gay during Pride month.

News of the relationship between Connor Jessup and Miles Heizer comes eight months after the former, 25, came out to the public during Pride month 2019.

“I knew I was gay when I was 13, but I hid it for years,” he wrote in an emotional Instagram post, confirming that he has been out “for years” to family and friends.

“I’m a white, cis man from an upper-middle class liberal family,” he wrote.

“Acceptance was never a question. But still, suspended in all this privilege, I balked.”

He acknowledged having played a “tedious” game with the press, discussing gay roles that he had played “from a neutral, almost anthropological distance, as if they were separate from me”.

When asked about his sexuality in a February 2020 interview with The Face, Jessup said that “a lot of factors” led him to come out.

“I felt embarrassed, not embarrassed about being gay, of course, but embarrassed about saying anything, the idea of making a post drawing attention to myself and the presumption that people would care what I had to say,” he said.

“And so I was like, I’ll just keep it to myself. But eventually, all of those excuses weren’t enough anymore.”

Heizer, also 25, has not commented on his sexuality, but was previously linked to his 13 Reasons Why co-star Brandon Flynn.
