Fans of online troll Lady Gaga, who occasionally sings, were sent into a frenzy last weekend when a snippet of her alleged new song leaked online, but the artist actually teased the song months ago.

Eagle-eyed Twitter users spotted that the song “Stupid Love”, allegedly set to be on her forthcoming LG6 album, was teased by Gaga on October 30, 2019.

In a photo of a pumpkin presented without comment, an iPhone can be seen next to it playing the song, which literally nobody noticed and we must all repent for our sins.

Lady Gaga told the world about her new song… several months ago.

Fans went absolutely, well, gaga over a 35-second demo clip reportedly from her new album.

Gaga has withheld all information about the upcoming release, other than a series of cryptic tweets including how she simply cannot recall the last time she bathed.

Well, fans can’t recall the last time she released an album, so…

Accordingly, the Little Monster community experienced a meltdown when a leak of the song “Stupid Love” slipped on Twitter.

However, almost all traces of the song have been scrubbed off of Twitter “by the copyright owner”.

Rumours are swirling around the song, ranging from an alleged album release on February 7 to a theory that the song was originally intended for Born This Way but didn’t make the cut, outlets reported.

But fans realised that Gaga told us about the song months ago.

In other words, until Gaga and her team do decide to drop LG6, fans will be on the edge of glory until then.
