This homophobic pastor would rather smear s**t over himself than see his son marry a man
This homophobic pastor hates gay people so much that he would rather cover himself in s**t than see his son marry a man.
Kevin Swanson delivered an impassioned plea to the attendees at the National Religious Liberties Conference in Des Moine, Iowa where he asked them to not attend same-sex weddings.
“There are families, we’re talking Christian families, pastors’ families, elders’ families, in good godly churches,” Swanson said.
“Their sons are rebelling, hanging out with homosexuals and getting married and the parents are invited. What would you do if that was the case? Here’s what I would do: sackcloth and ashes at the entrance to the church and I’d sit in cow manure and I’d spread it all over my body. That’s what I would do, and I’m not kidding! I’m not laughing!”
Swanson can be seen becoming increasingly emotional as he goes on in video footage of his speech.
“I’m grieving!” he shouted. “I’m mourning! I’m pointing out the problem!”
Gay people have ‘gaping, pussy sores’, according to homophobic pastor.
“It’s not a gay time!” he continued. “These are the people with the sores. The gaping sores! The stores that are pussy [sic] and gross and people are coming in and carving happy faces on the sores! That’s not a nice thing to do. Don’t you dare carve happy faces on open, pussy sores. Don’t you ever do that, don’t you ever do that! I tell you, don’t do it! Sackcloth and ashes, this is what America needs. America needs to hear the message. We are messed up.”
Here’s what I would do: sackcloth and ashes at the entrance to the church and I’d sit in cow manure and I’d spread it all over my body.
Elsewhere in the speech, which dates back to 2015, Swanson spoke about introducing the death penalty for gay people.
“Yes, Leviticus 20:13 calls for the death penalty for homosexuals,” he said. “Yes, Romans Chapter one verse 32, the apostle Paul does say that homosexuals are worthy of death. His words, not mine! And I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And I am not ashamed of the truth of the word of God and I am willing to go to jail for standing on the truth of the word of God!”

Swanson kindly wants to give gay people ‘some time’ to repent before introducing the death penalty.
Swanson fell short of advocating for the immediate introduction of the death penalty for gay people. Instead, he claimed that we “need some time for homosexuals to repent.”
“They need time to repent! Do you understand? America needs time to repent!” the homophobic pastor continued.
Unsurprisingly, the speech and the event at which it was made attracted controversy in 2015. In attendance were Republican presidential candidates Senator Ted Cruz and his father Rafael Cruz as well as Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana.
Swanson’s offensive comments didn’t end there either. He later said that the Orlando nightclub massacre happened due to general sinfulness, and quoted a section from Romans 1 in the Bible. He said that gay people who repent will go to heaven but “proud gays will go to hell.”
He has also defended Uganda’s attempts to introduce the death penalty for gay people.
