Harry Styles sang Lizzo’s Juice and you need to stop what you’re doing and watch it right now

“Somebody come get your man, I think he got lost in my DMs,” Harry Styles sang, grinning, in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.

“I think we’re gonna be way more than friends! Way more than friends.”

Dressed in a tee from his own merch line (sold out, sorry), the Fine Line singer absolutely – and we cannot emphasise this enough – killed it covering Lizzo’s hit, ‘Juice’.

With a backing band made up of mostly women and his hair pushed back under headphones, Styles’ performance was basically gay rights.

Harry was in the Live Lounge to perform two songs from his latest album, Fine Line – his top ten single ‘Lights Up’, and Adore You’ – and Paul McCartney’s ‘Wonderful Christmastime’.

Before singing ‘Juice’, the star had nothing but praise for Lizzo.

“I just think she’s amazing; she’s one of the most exciting artists working now for sure. She’s exactly what you want an artist to be, which is themselves,” he said.

Lizzo responded with one word that perfectly encapsulated how the internet feels: “*Melts*”.

She followed up by tweeting the video of Harry performing ‘Juice’ with the words that everyone hopes will come true: “You know what this means right….?” followed by two winking emojis.

Since Fine Line was released on Friday the 13th of December – the day that the UK woke up after the general election to find out that the UK parliament is still the gayest in the world and that Boris Johnson had secured a majority  – Harry Styles has been on outstanding form.

At an intimate gig at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, London, on December 19, Styles sang draped in a rainbow Pride flag and then chanted “fuck the government and fuck Boris” with Stormzy.

Footage of the pair went viral on Twitter, as Styles and Stormzy rallied on fans to chant along with them during a duet to ‘Vossi Bop’ – which fans enthusiastically agreed to do.

Both artists have dropped fresh albums recently, with the concert launching Styles’ new album, Fine Line, while Stormzy released his second album Heavy is the Head last week.
