Beating the wholesome likes of ‘heartwarming hearts’ and ‘happy cheering bunny’, Jasmine Masters saying “and I oop!” has been named the number one GIF of 2019.

Honestly, if that doesn’t say gay rights, what does? We don’t know, maybe banning conversion therapy in all 50 US states or decriminalising homosexuality across all 70 countries where being gay is illegal?

Anywho, and I oop!

Jasmine Masters: ‘And I got a trophy, too!’

The Drag Race icon nabbed the top stop – robbing it from a waving Nick Jonas – in Giphy’s GIF of 2019. The now notorious 2015 clip has been watched 419 million times since.

The three-second clip saw Masters chatting about people who can’t handle their liqueur.

It has been quoted countless times, featuring the former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant accidentally sitting on her “oops”.

Giver her an Oscar, to be honest.

When the GIF database website awarded Masters with the honour, she was sent an electronic trophy that featured the gif on a loop.

And her reaction to scoring the award was adorable:

‘She is an icon, she is a legend, and she is the moment’: Fans celebrate the crowning of a Meme Queen.

Moreover, her legion of fans have turned up in troves on Twitter to congratulate her moment of memetic glory.

“She is an icon, she is a legend, and she is the moment, come on now!” tweeted Daniel.

Another added: “Queen of pop.”
