‘Kill the gays’ pastor actually thinks Greta Thunberg is being controlled by demonic spirits

A radical right-wing pastor who believes the Californian wildfires were the fault of gay people has just announced that Greta Thunberg is being used by evil “demonic spirits”.

Kevin Swanson’s previous claims to fame include the time he declared Hurricane Harvey was a “punishment” from God for Texas rejecting an anti-trans law, and the time he said public schools will turn kids into “transgender communists.”

The staunch Christian has also called for LGBT-friendly schools to be burned down and said that Girl Scouts leaders should be drowned for being too pro-gay.

On Monday Swanson took a break from suggesting gay people should be stoned to instead target the 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, who was recently named as Time magazine’s Person of the Year for 2019.

Speaking on his radio show Generations, Swanson said that Thunberg receiving this honour is a sign of “the unraveling of the Western world.”

“She’s psychologically disturbed,” Swanson claimed, likening her to a young boy in the Bible who was healed by Jesus after being possessed by a demonic spirit.

“I have to say there is something very disturbing about the appearance of and the presentation of this Greta Thunberg. The other demonic spirits are using her to lead the world wherever it’s going.”

He continued: “Friends, if this isn’t a quintessential demonstration of the death of the West, or what an entire empire, what multiple empires, look like at the verge of collapsing, this is it,” he added, before incredibly urging Christian “compassion” towards her.

“On the one hand, we want to be compassionate with Greta. I truly believe that Greta needs Jesus and short of her coming to Christ, I don’t know what is going to happen to this young lady. It is sad to see her in the condition that she is in.”

Fortunately, Greta has shown that she is adept at dealing with even the worst trolls, who regularly lash out at her when they find her message of environmentalism too hard to swallow.
