Pete Buttigieg is seriously creeped out by Donald Trump’s confession that he dreams about him

Last week president Donald Trump admitted that he “dreams” about Pete Buttigieg, and gay Democratic hopeful was seriously creeped out.

Trump played down his possible impeachment at a campaign rally in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on December 10 and instead admitted he “dreams” about competing against Buttigieg.

Trump, who refers to South Bend, Indiana, mayor as “Alfred E Neuman” after the wide-grinned Mad Magazine mascot, said: “I dream about him, it’s true.”

“You have Alfred E Neuman who’s running and it’s like, this guy?”

He also claimed to have “destroyed” Elizabeth Warren, who he continues to refer to as “Pocahontas”, even though Native American leaders have called the term racist.

“We destroyed her too fast, so she came back, but she’s going back down again,” he said.

According to LGBTQ Nation, Trump also made fun of Buttigieg’s name saying: “This guy Buttigieg, Boot-edge-edge. Can you believe he’s doing well? He’s like the leading fundraiser. I dream about him! It’s true. No, Boot-edge-edge!”

Responding to the president’s confession, Buttigieg said in a livestream for The Washington Post: “I will admit it did bother me when he says he dreams about me.

“I don’t know what goes on in this president’s dreams, but I’m sure I want absolutely nothing to do with them.”

On Trump mocking his name and his candidacy, Buttigieg added: “I’m not that worried for it — I’m gay and I grew up in Indiana… That kind of schoolyard talk doesn’t bother me. I’ve also seen a lot worse incoming than a tweet full of typos.”

Buttigieg recently revealed that he is a huge Lizzo fan when he met her last week on CBS’s This Morning.

When he was asked by host Gayle King if he has “had any DNA tests recently”, he responded: “Yes, and I’m 100 per cent that nominee to lead the way to the future!”
