Queer icon Robyn shares playlist and heartfelt message to fans who may struggle and feel alone at Christmas
Swedish singer Robyn has sent a moving Christmas message to fans who may be struggling with feeling lonely over the intense festive period.
The Dancing On My Own singer shared her support for people who might not have the support they need over Christmas on Twitter.
“This time of the year is supposed to be calm and lovely for the ones who celebrate these holidays, but as Im sure you know Xmas and New Years is an intense time. Some of us are feeling very lonely and might not have the support we need,” Robyn tweeted.
She added: “Some of us might be surrounded with family and still feel lonely, some of us might have too much family to deal with! This is a playlist that I hope might give breathing space during these next weeks.
“But to be honest, my year has been heavy at times and when I was listening through now I realised that some of these songs are very emotionally demanding. Ive tried to mix them with music that gives me relief. They all do I guess, but in different ways.
“Peace & Love R.”
