Caitlyn Jenner not met by any friends or family after leaving the ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!’ jungle

Caitlyn Jenner

Fans of Caitlyn Jenner were heartbroken for her when none of her friends or family showed up to greet her as she left the jungle after being eliminated from I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

Jenner became the seventh celebrity to leave the show on Friday (December 6), along with Nadine Coyle, and it is customary that as an exiting celebrity crosses the bridge out of the camp they are met by friends or family on the other side.

But instead of loved ones, Jenner was greeted by fellow former contestant James Haskell, who previously described her as his “jungle wife”.

He told The Sun Online: “I met Caitlyn when she came over the bridge. I sat with her for the entire leaving process –  I asked to do it to make sure she had someone.”

But fans could not forgive that none of the Kardashian/ Jenner clan had shown up to support her, and took to Twitter to express their frustration.

One wrote: “My heart can’t take seeing no one meet Caitlyn Jenner at the end of the bridge.

“Ya telling me none of her family/friends were available… everyone of them could get a private jet over NAHHH just shows their priorities.”

Another said: “It’s actually heartbreaking that Caitlyn Jenner has not one bad thing to say about any of her family and love them all to death, yet not one of them could be arsed to show up and show her support when she left the jungle.”

Luckily it was later revealed that although she didn’t manage to make it on time to meet her at the bridge, Jenner’s partner Sophia Hutchins met back at the hotel.

In a video posted to her Instagram story later in the day, Jenner said: “Just got out of the jungle and finally getting my hair and make-up done and boy do I need it.

“Haven’t had it in weeks but when I came out of the jungle, where I had a lot of great friends there but I had a big surprise when I got back to the hotel… Sophia’s here!”
