Piers Morgan had an ‘I don’t know her’ moment as he banned Caitlyn Jenner’s partner from Good Morning Britain

Piers Morgan pulled a Mariah Carey on Good Morning Britain, hitting back at Caitlyn Jenner’s partner Sophia Hutchins with a frosty “I don’t know her.”

Morgan said that Hutchins was no longer welcome on the ITV breakfast show after she called him a “jack*ss” for asking invasive questions about her sex life.

Hutchins said that neither she nor Jenner – who she describes as her non-romantic partner – would ever be interviewed by Morgan again after the exchange.

But Morgan hit back, declaring: “You can’t ban me, because after you were rude yourself, I’d already taken the decision to ban you.”

“Here’s a few home truths, love,” he said on Monday morning (December 2).

“I’ve never heard of you, ever. Didn’t know who you were.

“I got told ‘you are interviewing a person called Sophia Hutchins who apparently lives with Caitlyn Jenner.’

“You will never, ever again, ever, be interviewed by me.”

As co-host Susanna Reid appealed for Morgan to “be kinder,” the journalist continued his rant.

“I’m just done, and tell little Sophia to learn some manners,” he said.

“You’re very lucky to be on TV in this country. We’d never heard of you. You’re only famous because you’ve got a famous ‘friend,’ and the fact you won’t even tell us what kind of friend you are…”

Sophia Hutchins called Piers Morgan ‘a joke.’

Morgan first became fixated on the nature of Hutchin’s and Jenner’s relationship during last Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain (November 27).

The 23-year-old trans model appeared on the show to discuss Jenner’s stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Morgan began the interview by asking whether there was any “hanky panky” going on between the pair.

Hutchins appeared stunned as he continued: “We just want all the goss. If you’re not an item, why aren’t you an item?”

“Was that a real question,” she replied, clarifying that she and Jenner, 70, consider themselves “partners in every sense of the word”.

“I think we have a really special relationship, I don’t think that we need to be an item to have a really special relationship,” she explained.

I went on Good Morning Britain to support Caitlyn, not to deal with stupid bulls**t questions from some jack*ss like Piers Morgan.

After the interview aired, Hutchins took to her Instagram story where she said that “having Piers Morgan” was Good Morning Britain‘s “biggest mistake.”

“What a joke of a journalist he is. What a pathetic line of questioning he had for me this morning,” she added.

“I went on to support Caitlyn on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! not to deal with stupid bulls**t questions from some jack*ss like Piers Morgan.”
