It’s week one of I’m a Celeb and Caitlyn Jenner is already queen of the jungle

Caitlyn Jenner donned her stockperson’s hat as she landed in Australia for her I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! debut yesterday, and it seems she’s already becoming the bookies’ favourite.

As fellow contestants Roman Kemp and Jacqueline Jossa joyfully waved at Jenner, 70, riding into the jungle, she stoically stared forward with her sunglasses. Motionless.

“We’re being blanked by Caitlyn Jenner,” Kemp remarked.

And it seems that Jenner is already proving herself to be the queen of the jungle, as viewers couldn’t get enough of her and Nadine Coyle’s unlikely friendship.

Caitlyn Jenner and Nadine Coyle give the gays everything they want.

The pair end up skydiving into the jungle together, with the two walking arm-in-arm to their “chariot”.

“I am sweating profusely,” Coyle commented, who appeared not to have the same condition as Prince Andrew, who never sweats.

Reassuringly, Jenner replied: “I promise you, you’re going to be fine.”

But the Girls Aloud singer is terrified, leading to the bleary-eyed singer being comforted by Jenner.

After courageously leaping from the craft, now safety back on the ground, the TV personality said: “Nadine’s so shaken up there and crying.

“I’m just, you know, want her to get down and be OK.”

But as Coyle triumphantly leapt from the helicopter and re-unites with the ground, Jenner beelines towards her to hug her.

“Nadine, you’re alive!” she shouted, as the pair embraced.

Viewers couldn’t get enough of the new camp-mates:

Name a more iconic duo, we’ll wait.

‘Keep your transphobia in the trash.’

Some fans have already tipped her to be crowned the queen of the ITV reality show.

However, as transphobia began to bubble up on certain parts of social media, Twitter users were quick to explain that her existence is not an excuse to mock or decry trans people.

“Just a little note this I’m a Celeb season,” explained Callen.

“This is not an opportunity to think you’re funny and refer to Caitlyn Jenner as ‘he’. Caitlyn Jenner is a woman.

“Educate yourselves and keep your transphobia in the trash.”
