Trans model slams Instagram for removing steamy photo, says cis men get away with posting more explicit content

A trans model has slammed Instagram after the platform removed one of his steamy photos when similar photos of cisgender men are not censored.
Kenny Ethan Jones shared the nude photo on Instagram last month in which he was covering his crotch with his hand. However, Instagram quickly removed the image and said it was in breach of their community guidelines.
Jones re-shared the photo with the Instagram logo over his crotch instead and said he hopes this version better matches the platform’s standards.
“Let’s get real,” Jones wrote. “I’m in conversation with Instagram to rectify this issue, they are being very understanding and helpful,” he said.

When Jones shared the post two weeks ago, he said he was due to have a phone call with Instagram bosses to discuss the issue – however, he has not yet issued an update on the situation.
“I’m very happy with [the] way this situation is being handled but I’m still mad that it got taken down so f**k it,” he said.

Jones shared a screenshot of the email he sent to Instagram complaining about the decision in which he said he could see nothing in the community guidelines that indicated that his photo was in breach of rules.

Facebook and Instagram have a history of censorship.
He followed up by saying that an algorithm may have flagged the photo and hopes Instagram will resolve the issue.
The photo was removed two weeks ago and as of yet it looks as though no action has been taken.
Instagram and Facebook have a long history of censoring nudity, and recently revealed that they will even be censoring peach, aubergine and other “horny” emojis.
The new rules were introduced at some point between September and October, adult industry site XBIZ reported last month.
The social media platforms claim that the new policies exist to curb “sexual solicitation”.
