Reality star’s justification for homophobia is so bad we rolled our eyes so hard they came out of our sockets

American reality TV personality Jax Taylor, pelted by accusations of ‘homophobia’, has defended himself by claiming “50 percent of my friends are gay”.
Yeah.
The Vanderpump Rules star was plunged into a Twitter argument earlier this month where he tossed homophobic comments in an argument with another user, reported Reality Blurb!
“[You’re] the type of guy who is in [a] frat and claims he loves women, but secretly is bending over his roommate ‘Chad’ while wearing boat shoes,” the 40-year-old tweeted against his critic.
“20 bucks says I hit the nail on the head with this loser.”
Reality star claims he can’t be homophobic because he lived in ‘West Hollywood’.
In the surreal and since deleted exchange, the Twitter user hit back at Taylor by pulling up a pair of articles. One concerning a pastor refusing to officiate Taylor wedding with Brittany Cartwright for ‘anti-LGBTQ’ comments.
And the other referring to the couple’s cheating scandal from 2019.
“Look at this loser,” Taylor tweeted, according to screenshots, “it’s Friday night, homie, and your straight man looking up ‘page six‘, looks like I was right.”
Twitter users were outraged by Taylor’s remarks. Many accused the reality TV star of being homophobic for resorting to homophobia during the verbal brawl.

As the accusations flooded his mentions, Taylor sought to defend himself with the oldest trick in the book: “50 percent of my friends are gay”.
This was paired with how he has lived in West Hollywood for 15 years, has worked at a gay bar, “walked in four gay Pride parades” as well as having Lance Bass marry him and Brittany.

“But yes, you got me, I am homophobic… people are idiots,” he said.
Followers and fans alike, however, remained unswayed by Taylor’s explanation.
