Avengers star Chris Evans opens up with his gay brother on the Jimmy Fallon show

Most Avengers fans are well aware that Captain America star Chris Evans is a huge LGBT+ ally – but his gay brother, Scott Evans, is a little less known.

The two brothers, who are both actors, appeared side-by-side on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to play a game of “Know Your Bro”.

Scott and Chris Evans took turns to wear Fallon’s famous noise cancelling headphones, and were asked questions about each other to see if their answers matched.

They got off to a strong start as Chris was asked what his brother would do if he weren’t an actor – answering correctly that his dream job would be a homicide detective.

Scott was then asked: “What is something Chris did growing up that your parents still don’t know about?” Scott remembered a time when his brother pushed him into a coffee table, splitting his head open and causing him to need stitches.

“I was like, ‘Blooooood!’ and Chris was like, ‘Please don’t tell.’ I just said that I fell, and I got stitches – and Mom, he pushed me!” he said, presumably addressing their mother in the audience.

“You have some explaining to do,” Fallon told Evans as he removed the headphones. “I wanna know what went down.”

But Chris’s answer was slightly different from his brother’s. “I mean, there was a few!” he laughed. “Alright, is it when I… I’ll say it’s when I was a senior and he was a freshman, I made him cut school and we… judging by the reaction that’s not right!”

But as he’d already incriminated himself, he continued: “I made him cut school and we went and did a lot of bad things. And then we came back to the school… and you ratted me out for it!”
