Bisexual Disney star Joshua Rush joked about running for president but fans don’t think it’s a bad idea

Joshua Rush 2024? The bisexual Disney Channel star jokingly announced today his plan to run for the top seat in the White House.

And, to be honest, his fans don’t think it’s a bad idea.

While Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren glides up the polls, gay contender Pete Buttigieg scrambles to secure his standing and Joe Biden talks about “round-the-clock sex”, some fans took Rush’s announcement as a refreshing alternative.

Rush, 17, played Cyrus Goodman on Andi Mack. Not only did is character come out as gay in 2017, but the actor himself later came out as bisexual earlier this year.

In the tweet, Rush said: “I’m honoured to be moving towards a future we can believe in, and that’s why I’m running for President of the United States.”

The 17-year-old then prompted his readers to click an article with the headline: “Joshua Rush, former Disney Channel star, begins run for President.”

But when fans eager click to hear about Rush’s vision for a better American and potential policies, they stumble onto a Fake News Generator website.

Nevertheless, Rush’s followers were totally ready to vote for him.

‘Good practise for your 2040 campaign.’

For a start, some users had already made Rush his campaigning signs:

“FINALLY”, wrote Alyssa, a candidate with some real qualification.”

Followers were already rearing to hit the polls, but some folks had questions.

“Would you have a first lady or a first man? How would you decorate the Oval Office? Would you create a Department of Dank Memes?” one user questioned.

“These are the real issues,” replied another user.

While Rush did not confirm whether he would open a Department of Dank Memes, one such meme did get his (presidential-to-be) seal of approval:

Will there be a First Phrog of the United States (FPOTUS) in our lifetime? Only time will tell.

The youngest age a presidential candidate can be, according to the US Constitution, is 35. As a result, some of Rush’s followers bookmarked his presidency for a later date:
