Nurse suspended for calling gay and trans people ‘f**king c**k sucking homos’ in vile rant

A nurse has been suspended for posting that gay and trans people are “f**king c**k sucking homos” on social media, while a local politician is calling for a boycott of the hospital she works at.

Cindy Carter works for the TriHealth hospital network in Ohio, which announced on Monday, 28 October, that it was placing her on administrative leave.

This is for “her safety and the safety of our patients”, TriHealth said, adding that it would be investigating the posts.

Carter, a nurse at Bethesda Butler Hospital in Cincinnati, commented on a news story about Always removing the female Venus symbol from its sanitary pads.

She said: “F**k ‘Always’. This country has gone to complete s**t. Women have periods, men don’t. Why do certain applications ask for LEGAL sex… You’re either male or female. There’s no f**king in between.”

In another post she continued the rant, saying: “I swear, these f**king c**k sucking homos think thy deserve everything. And the confused women are just as bad. Men need to be men. Women need to be women.”

Cincinnati city councillor Chris Seelbach shared a screen grab of Carter’s post and called for a boycott of TriHealth.

“As an LGBTQ+ person, I don’t feel comfortable using their services until I know Mrs Cindy Carter would never treat me. Until TriHealth terminates the employment of Carter, I will not be using their services. #BoycottTriHealth,” he said.

After Seelbach learned that Carter had been suspended by TriHealth, he called it “a good first step” and said: “No one who thinks I am a ‘f**king c**k sucking homo’ and that transgender people don’t exist should be treating patients.”

Announcing that it would be investigating the incident, TriHealth said, “We take allegations of this nature very seriously and began an internal investigation into the matter on Friday. The nurse has been placed on administrative leave for her safety and the safety of our patients while the investigation continues.”

“We are committed to bringing this issue to a swift close and will provide an update when the investigation is complete.”
