A video of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez grilling Mark Zuckerberg was reportedly filed on PornHub under “Public humiliation: Femdom”.

The Democratic lawmaker dug her political heel into Zuckerberg’s throat on Wednesday, October 23, during a House of Representatives financial services committee hearing.

Zuckerberg was answering questions on the launch of his new cryptocurrency project, Libra, when Ocasio-Cortez turned up the heat.

“In order for us to make decisions about Libra, I think we need to kind of dig into your past behaviour and Facebook’s past behaviour with respect to our democracy,” she said before grilling him on the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

As the Facebook CEO floundered, Ocasio-Cortez refused to let up, picking apart his recollection of the scandal and Facebook’s newly-announced policy of allowing political advertising to include lies.

The five-minute exchange has been viewed hundreds of thousands in various YouTube uploads, and according to a Twitter screenshot, has since been added to PornHub.

Due to the NSFW nature of the site, PinkNews has been unable to independently verify whether the video exists on PornHub. But regardless, Twitter was ecstatic to see it.

Zuckerberg floundered while trying to explain when he and his colleagues first became aware of Cambridge Analytica, which harvested Facebook user data and, according to Ocasio-Cortez, “had catastrophic impacts on the 2016 [US] election”.

The Guardian first reported on the company’s existence in December 2015 before publishing a full exposé in March 2018.

Zuckerberg has long declined to say when he first discovered that the firm was misusing user data.  At Wednesday’s hearing, he said that he “wasn’t sure of the exact time but it was probably around the time when it came public… around March 2018”.

He later clarified that he was aware of Cambridge Analytica as an entity “earlier” and “that some folks were tracking it internally” around the time of the initial Guardian article.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also quizzed Zuckerberg on Facebook’s decision to rescind a ban on false claims in advertising, including political advertising. This could allow politicians to pay to spread disinformation, Ocasio-Cortez said.

“Under your policy, using census data, could I pay to target predominantly black zip codes and advertise them he incorrect election date?” she asked.

Zuckerberg said that content would be removed if it could cause census or voter suppression, but did not say whether lies would be taken down.

“Do you see a potential problem here with a complete lack of factchecking on political advertisements?” Ocasio-Cortez asked.

Zuckerberg replied that he “thinks lying is bad”, but again failed to give a definitive answer.

“So you won’t take down lies or you will take down lies? It’s a just pretty simple yes or no,” she continued.
