Elsa sends queer Twitter into a frenzy with release of new Frozen II trailer

A new trailer for hotly-anticipated film Frozen II has got queer Queen Elsa fans going wild. 

It’s no secret that many Frozen fans feel a certain lesbian energy from the Queen of Arendelle, so it comes as no surprise that the latest offering has got Twitter riled up.

While depicting the adventures of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf – battling to save Arendelle once again – fans are treated to a quick shot of Elsa with her usually braided hair, let loose. 

But eagle-eyed viewers didn’t let the moment go unnoticed. 

Queer Twitter has some thoughts. Many thoughts.

One user wrote: “GUYS GUYS GUYS. ELSA WITH HER HAIR DOWN OKAY IM GAY AS F**K.”

Another said: “if elsa dont quit playin wit her long hair and MARRY ME.” 

Referring to the popular rumour that Elsa is a lesbian, another user wrote: “elsa’s hair needs to be this straight so theres at least one thing thats straight about her.” 

Another said: “ELSA WITH HER HAIR DOWN…. GAYS HOW WE FEELING #Frozen2.” 

To put it simply another user wrote: “Elsa with her hair down. That’s it, that’s the tweet.” 

With Frozen fever in the air, fans won’t have to wait long until they can see Elsa’s new look on the big screen. 

Actor Josh Gad, who voices Olaf, posted a photo on Instagram showing the entire cast gathered for a screening.

Tonight after three years of coming in and working in a booth by ourselves oppisite our brilliant directors @alittlejelee and Chris Buck, we FINALLY got to see the finished product for the first time. To say it was worth the wait would be an understatement. There is so much I want to tell you but so little I can tell you. I laughed, I gasped, I applauded and I wept. #frozen2 is stunning and surprising in many ways. On top of the return of your favorite characters and the introduction of some wonderful new ones, this is a story first and foremost about the undying love of two sisters (and boy are these the women the world needs right now.) You have never seen Anna and Elsa like this. I cannot wait to share this movie with my daughters and with the world. Get ready to step into the Unknown.
