Ellen DeGeneres claims she dated one of Brad Pitt’s ex-girlfriends

Ellen DeGeneres has revealed that she may have dated one of Brad Pitt’s ex-girlfriends.
Pitt was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, September 13 to promote his new films Ad Astra and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
They confirmed that they met in the “late 80s, early 90s”, but DeGeneres asked him: “Do you remember where we met?”
To which he responded: “I remember it was a Melissa Etheridge pool party. I think you were hitting on my girlfriend.” He added that he was “flattered.”
However DeGeneres then went on to say: “I actually sense that I’ve dated another one of your girlfriends… We’ll talk about that later.”
“After the show,” said Pitt.
DeGeneres tweeted later: “It turns out Brad Pitt and I have similar taste in women.” It has not been revealed who the woman is question is.

Despite speculation that DeGeneres might be quitting the talk show after 16 years, she announced this year that she would continue for at least another three.
She revealed in a profile with The New York Times last year that her wife Portia de Rossi was urging her to move on from The Ellen DeGeneres Show and to take more time to relax.
But in one of her monologues in May, she told The Ellen DeGeneres Show audience: “Sometime in a relationship, you need to take a break.
The announcement was greeted with rapturous applause from the audience.
She added: “I got letters from people telling me that I helped them go though chemo, and that they were inspired by one of my guests, or watching the show made them laugh for the first time in a very long time.
“That’s why I’m going to keep doing this show, for people like you.”
