Milo Yiannopoulos allegedly called a journalist ‘way too ugly’ to interview him

The gay right-wing troll Milo Yiannopoulos appears to have refused an interview by a Business Insider journalist because she was “way too ugly” for him.

On September 9, journalist Kat Tenbarge contacted the former Breitbart editor on Telegram as he has been deplatformed from Facebook and Twitter for violating hate speech rules.

He is struggling to gain a following on the app, and complained earlier this week that he “can’t put food on the table” and may “retire from social media entirely” as he isn’t getting enough donations anymore.

“Microscopic followings like 20k are not going to sustain people like me,” he wrote to his few remaining fans.

“It’s just not a good use of my time to be here. Talking to the same 1,000 people, none of whom buy books, tickets to anything or donate. Views on my posts have crashed down to 2 or 3k total. Channel keeps getting muted. I’m close to quitting.”

Tenbarge reached out to Milo Yiannopoulos to ask if he wanted to elaborate on his situation, but the self-described ‘pop star of hate’ wasn’t having it.

“Why would I? Your only motivation is to make me look bad and you’ll tell whatever lie you have to in order to achieve that goal,” he replied. “Why would I bother?”

He then added: “Also, you are WAY too ugly to interview me sweetheart. Ask them to send someone else please. 8.5 minimum.”

Undeterred by his pettiness, the journalist continued her line of questioning: “So are you staying on Telegram or are you gonna migrate somewhere else?”

Yiannopoulos quickly typed back: “What’s wrong with you? I told you, TOO UGLY. Send someone hotter than you and I’ll think about it. Thanks!”

Tenbarge quipped: “I actually think I’m the best we have :(“. To which Yiannopoulos replied: “You probably like it that way. I’ve seen the dudes that work at BI.”

Tenbarge refused to respond to his insults, instead pushing him to stay on topic, but it seems the conversation went no further.

She posted screenshots of exchange on Twitter and her followers quickly tore Yiannopoulos to pieces.
