Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski knows he’s a sex symbol

Antoni Porowski admitted that he is “a bit of a troublemaker,” and said that his sexuality is “another muscle that I get to flex.”

Since Queer Eye burst onto screens in 2018, food and wine expert Antoni Porowski has become the Fab Five’s thirst-trapper-in-chief.

While his culinary skills are often debated (guacamole, again, really?) there’s no denying the man knows his way around a moody black-and-white topless shot.

Speaking to YouTuber Joseph Shepherd, Porowski acknowledged his new-found sex symbol status.

“I’m not going to be naive and pretend like I don’t engage in that part of my image,” he said.

“But it’s very entertaining for me.”

The newly-single 35-year-old said that he is constantly keeping himself in check when it comes to parading around in his underwear.

“If I’m doing something purely for validation and attention—I call that the ‘McDonald’s Syndrome’ because it feels good for five minutes, then you feel like garbage.

“Whether it’s an endorsement, posing in my underwear for a photographer or for a brand like Tom Ford, I’m always checking my intentions and figuring out why am I doing what I’m doing.”

In news that will delight all four million of his followers, Porowski hinted that he’ll continue to flaunt his body for as long as he can.

“I am a bit of a troublemaker—the sex symbol part is that. It’s like another muscle that I get to flex, like having a restaurant or writing a cookbook.”

“When I’m a weird 80-year-old man hopefully living in Rome, I really want to have a gut and just not give a s*** and I’m just going to have photos of myself in my thirties in my underwear.”

Porowski will next be seen in Queer Eye: We’re In Japan, a four-part special which will see the Fab Five fly to Tokyo to make over a quartet of heroes.

Queer Eye: We’re In Japan arrives on Netflix on November 1. Antoni: Exposed, the full interview with Joseph Shepherd, is available on YouTube.
