Fans are convinced Taylor Swift just came out as bisexual

Taylor Swift fans are going wild with speculation, after she posted a photo of herself wearing a “PROUD” bracelet in the colours of the bi flag.
The 10-time Grammy Award-winner posted a picture to Instagram on Monday (August 5) showing off several bracelets on her wrist.
The bracelets spell out the names of things she loves, such as “BENJI” — her cat — and “FEARLESS” — the title of her second album.
Fans noticed that one of the bracelets features the word “PROUD” surrounded by blue, pink and purple beads. These also happen to be the colours of the bisexual flag.

This prompted fans to speculate about whether Swift might be hinting at being bisexual.

This isn’t the first time fans have questioned the singer’s sexuality.
In the music video for her song “You Need To Calm Down,” Swift sports a wig in the bisexual flag colours, which left some fans convinced that she was bisexual.

However, some fans on Twitter questioned whether Swift was aware of the meaning of the bracelet, which was reportedly gifted to her by a fan during a secret listening session in Nashville for her upcoming album Lover.

Ally to the LGBT+ community
Taylor Swift has been an active ally to the LGBT+ community, giving large donations to LGBT+ charities.
Her latest single, “You Need To Calm Down,” from her new album Lover, has been labelled an “anti-homophobia song.”
The song was released during Pride month (and on Donald Trump’s birthday). The music video has racked up over 100 million views and features a host of LGBT+ celebrity cameos, including Ellen Degeneres, Laverne Cox, and RuPaul.
At the end of the music video, Swift encourages fans to sign her petition in support of the Equality Act, which would outlaw discrimination against LGBT+ people in the US.
However, the singer has received some flack online, with some LGBT+ campaigners accusing her of capitalising on the issue to promote her music.
Billy Eichner, the host of viral web series Billy On The Street, defended Taylor Swift.

He told Variety: “You know I think overall we need all the allies we can get.
“I was really genuinely impressed by how vocal Taylor was during the midterm elections, telling her following to vote, coming out on behalf of democrats even though she’s from the south and a deep red state.
“I really thought that was so important. She got so many people into the system who now will hopefully continue to be in the system and continue to be politically engaged.”
Taylor Swift’s upcoming album Lover will be released on August 23.
