Cara Delevingne may or may not have married Ashley Benson in a secret Las Vegas ceremony, according to conflicting reports that emerged on Sunday (August 4).

Delevingne and her girlfriend, Pretty Little Liars actor Ashley Benson, were reportedly declared “wife and wife” by an Elvis Presley impersonator earlier this year.

According to The Sun on Sunday, the ceremony was witnessed by friends including Charlize Theron, The Jonas Brothers and Sophie Turner—who married Joe Jonas in her own Vegas ceremony back in May.

Both brides were said to have worn black, with Benson carrying the bouquet.

Michael Kelly, who owns the chapel, told the newspaper that the pair “were sure about what they [were] doing and about what they mean to each other.”

“They were clearly devoted to each other and they had the biggest smiles on their faces,” he continued.

“You could see that they were serious about what they were doing but having the most fun. They wanted it simple, quiet and easy.”

They were clearly devoted to each other.

But according to E! News, Delevingne and Benson are not legally married.

The website could not find a marriage license for the pair in Las Vegas public records, with a source claiming that the celebration was simply a “friendship ceremony.”

Cara Delevingne met girlfriend on set

Delevingne and Benson met on the set of the 2018 film Her Smell and kept their relationship under wraps for over a year.

They went public during Pride Month after Delevingne paid tribute to “a very special woman” while accepting an award at the TrevorLIVE New York Gala on June 17.

“She’s one of the people who helped me love myself when I need it most and I really needed it,” she said.

“She showed me what real love is and showed me how to accept it, which was a lot harder than I thought. I love you, Sprinkles.”

Later, Delevingne said that Pride month had inspired her to declare her love for Benson.

“It is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don’t know, it’s been just about our one year anniversary so, why not,” she told E! News.
