Southbank Centre is hosting the queerest summer ever

Summer is here and the heat is rising at Southbank Centre. Join us for a summer-long party by the Thames, celebrating LGBTQI+ artists and performers in a packed programme of events.

Hayward Gallery presents Kiss My Genders, a group exhibition featuring more than 30 international artists whose work explores and engages with gender identity (Jun 12 – Sep 8).

Queen Elizabeth Hall hosts John Paul Gaultier’s glittering Fashion Freak Show, laden with attitude, humour and excess (Jul 23 – Aug 2), and we welcome drag star Ginger Johnson in a comedic cabaret confessional about a woman on the edge (Jul 12 & 13).

Our outdoor stage explodes with DJs, performances and live music until 1am as we host takeovers from some of London’s most essential club and cabaret nights – all for free.

Pxssy Palace x BBZ usher in the summer at a bumper QTIPOC Pride party (6 Jul) while The Cocoa Butter Club share everything from voguing to spoken word (Aug 17).

Party all night long with Drag Syndrome, the first collective of drag kings and queens with Down’s syndrome (Jul 12).

Rethink gender on the dancefloor with the liberated queer performance collective Little Gay Brother (Aug 2) and theatre and cabaret company Pecs Drag Kings (Jul 13).

So grab a drink, put on your dancing shoes and join us for the never-ending party that everyone is talking about.
