Ariana Grande makes surprise appearance at Texas gay bar

Ariana Grande has delighted LGBT+ fans after she made a surprise appearance at a gay bar in Texas on Wednesday night (May 15).

Grande was in San Antonio with her tour when she decided to drop by HEAT nightclub to enjoy a quick performance by drag queen Miss Toni Andrews.

Andrews was not planning to perform any Ariana Grande songs that night, but was happy to switch things up when Grande turned up.

Ariana Grande reportedly bowed down to the drag queen and gave her a tip

“I was like, ‘Oh my God! Oh my God!’” Andrews told KENS5. “I just said, ‘Bitch, get into it, get into it. Bring out your inner JLo, Madonna, Ariana, Rihanna—everything.”

“So the music starts, [and] it is a mash-up I could hear her little voice, ‘Yas, queen!’ I could hear it. I could hear it.”

“For her to go out there and support the LGBTQ community is so comforting, knowing that she is going to sit there and support what we do on-stage,” Andrews said.

Apparently, Grande was so into the performance that she bowed down to Andrews and left her a tip. Andrews and another performer, Nilaya even made it onto Grande’s Instagram story.

Fans said she gave the drag queens $100 tips

Fans who were at the gay bar when Grande turned up said she came with a fistful of cash and tipped the drag queens with $100 bills.

One Twitter user posted: “Ariana Grande really went to our local club and was tipping queens $100 bills I f***in love her.”

After releasing a new song called “Monopoly” with Victoria Monét—in which Grande sings the line “I like women and men”—fans speculated that she might be bisexual.

A fan posted on Twitter: “Ariana ain’t gotta label herself, but she said what she said.”

Grande replied to the tweet: “I haven’t before and still don’t feel the need to now which is okay.”
